l_farr The more I listen to 27 the more connected I feel to it. It has a lot to do with my friend Tessa Conradi who was killed by a drunk driver in 2011 in N.E. Portland. She was the last girl I fell crazy mad in love with. I really loved her. Now everytime I listen to 27 I think of her! Favorite track: 27.

Beautiful girl, lovely boy Awaken the world to lovely joy If you let me fall in your arms Overcome my fear of your charms I'll burn to the sea Like the rain falls to rivers Flows to oceans Like mist to seashores I go to you When you sing love your love songs And be free to open your heart Then you'll be like deep Earth's passion You will open and burn to the sea Like the rain falls to rivers Flows to the oceans I go to you If you sing love your love songs And be free to open your heart Then you'll be like deep Earth's passion You will open and burn to the sea

Summer day The sidewalk moves below The moon still moves above And the leaves do use the warm breeze To whisper to you about his love And how you don't get to touch But you can dream You can't want it too much Though too much would be beautiful Count your blessing Friends and newness abounds Surrounds you in good cheer And you're happy that they're here today So when you see him it's like icing on your cake Don't you wish you could take him Into your lovely Into your soul Just for today You try to find a way to be in his vicinity To conquer his complexity To laugh with his eyes Smell his dreams And his goodbyes linger Leaving you wanting Suffering with these sweet sticky thoughts Stuck between your thighs And on your fingers Oh summer day The sidewalk moves below The moon still moves above And the leaves do use the warm breeze To whisper to you about his righteous love Don't you wish you could touch But you just dream You want it too much And too much would be beautiful Too much would be beautiful

27 houses line up on my block 27 lifetimes burned down one by one by one And if you're trying to find which home I'm running from Well I'm sorry my friend you're on your own You lived six houses down And I remember drawing in the kitchen And the games outside in the yard open wide And the smell of you Do you have to go now Do you really have to I'm having so much fun playing in your sun And I could slap on my face a big fat grin Thinking of all those houses we could have lived And I don't know who I've come from All I have are these pieces of smiling paper What did you want What did you tell nobody And would you tell me Would you tell me 27 houses line up on my block 27 years shot down one by one by one And if you're trying to find which home I'm running from Then I'm sorry my friend you're on your own
